I recently bought a used Colchester triumph 2000 lathe at a local auction. It needed a good clean and some repairs. The toolpost needs some parts but I can't find a brand or model anywhere.Hoping someone may recognise and point me in the right direction.Thx in advance.Any missing bearing-balls in the indexing rig, just mic a survivor and order-up to match. The coolant can get inside the tool post and rot the little components, springs etc.Regards Tyrone. You can chose which you buy depending on your budget.Regarding the indexing tool post, they're great when they're working but be careful if you use a lot of coolant. I've dealt with them quite often in the past and I've found them to be very helpful and their prices are reasonable. They also have stocks of brand new spare parts - bearings, gears etc along with the used items. They buy used 'Colchester ' lathes for re-furbishing or breaking up for spares. Whenever I needed ' Colchester ' spare parts I contacted ' Nobilla ' in Stevenage in the UK.They are a company that specialise in used ' Colchester ' lathes. They either made the tool posts themselves or had them made out by sub-contractors for fitting to their lathes. I think that was an item that ' Colchester ' sold with the lathes.
